This is one really big safety issue you will want to check even before buying a 1985 and older 107. A modification was made on all 560sl from 1986 to 1989 so it is not a concern. If you own an older SL or SLC then you will want to inspect this immediately. For owners of 1980 and older models, I will explain some good news for you.
