If your Electronic Steering Lock (ESL) is not working. Your car does not start. You can use this trick to get your car started. This is especially helpful if your ESL failed in the unlocked position. Meaning, you can still rotate your steering wheel.
WARNING: Don't use this trick too many times, you may ruin your front fuse box. It's not a problem to do it in emergency situations where you have to take your car to a repair shop or you need to move it to a more convenient location to resolve the failed ESL issue.
You can get in contact with me to program an electronic emulator to replace your factory steering lock. It's many times more reliable than the factory ESL design. If you must have a factory lock I can also program a used factory steering lock... but I don't recommend it. It will certainly fail again in the future. Bad design from the factory. Best to go with an electronic emulator instead.
