Travel process To thailand from 1st July 2022 (fully vaccinated)
The Thailand Pass registration and Covid-19 insurance requirements will be lifted for all people arriving in Thailand from July 1.

For those arriving in Thailand from 1st July 2022, only evidence of full vaccination at least 14 days before departure will be required, for those aged 18 or over.

When arriving by air, your vaccination (or recovery) status will be verified by your airline at the check-in desk, and subsequently may also be checked on arrival.
A booster dose is not currently required when travelling to Thailand.
As usual, the latest change in process is not 100% official until it is included in Thailand’s Royal Gazette, a formal legal process which should be completed in the coming days.
The quarantine-free arrival process for fully vaccinated travellers also extends to unvaccinated children aged 17 or below, when travelling with fully vaccinated parents.
What about unvaccinated travellers?
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers aged 12 or over can also continue to travel quarantine-free to Thailand, with proof of a negative PCR or ART test administered by a medical professional taken at most 72 hours of departure, instead of producing a vaccination certificate.
Negative test results will be checked by your operating airline at check-in, with random checks also conducted on arrival.

Travel in June 2022.
If you are arriving in Thailand on or before 30th June 2022, you will still be subject to the current requirements including having a valid Thailand Pass in order to check-in for your flight, unless you are a Thai Citizen.

Thai Government to temporarily scrap TM6 immigration form.
The Thai Prime Minister has revealed the government will temporarily scrap the TM6 immigration form.
The form is the arrival and departure card foreigners fill in to provide passport details, name, address, etc., on their entry and exit from Thailand.
Deputy Government Spokesperson Traisuree Traisoranakul says scrapping the TM6 would facilitate immigration checks and reduce congestion at airport immigration checkpoints.
The government did not provide a timeframe of when the measure will come into effect but it is expected to take around a week.
Traisuree says the temporary measure will be introduced because the number of foreign arrivals has increased significantly over the past 2 months and completing the TM6 form and Covid screenings has resulted in bottlenecks.
In response to how the government will collect the data of incoming foreign travellers, Traisuree replied the government can collect the data through the biometric system and information from airlines and tour agencies.

Thailand to lift 2 – 5pm alcohol sales ban in hotels from July.
Thailand seems to be lifting gazillions of restrictions lately. In its latest move announced , Thailand’s CCSA plans to lift its notorious alcohol sales ban from 2 – 5pm, in hotels at least, starting July 1. According to Tourism and Sports Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, restaurants and tourist attractions may also sell alcohol during this time, at provincial governors’ discretion.

Phiphat stressed that lifting the ban could hugely boost Thailand’s tourism industry who have been bewildered about the 2 – 5pm ‘ban’ for many decades. He said that starting July 1, the country expects an estimated 25 – 30,000 international tourists to flock into the Kingdom. He expects to see at least a total of 7.5 million people by the end of 2022, and hopes to push that number up to 10 million. Piphat said that when the tourists arrive, he doesn’t want to ruffle their feathers with the annoying daily alcohol sales ban at certain hours.
The daily 2 – 5pm booze ban has confused both Thais and foreigners forever and explanations for the ban have been many, but not necessarily historically accurate. Suffice to say, depending on who you talk to, you will get many explanations, including from the officials and police who have overseen the ban for many decades.
