I don’t know what it is about guys cars, but all of a sudden I’ve become a car enthusiast and most of the videos I watch on YouTube are about car reviews and I love those guys over a throttle house.

But here is the problem, because I understand money I know that buying a car is never going to be a sound investments but I do know some important factors to help me not lose that much money.

First buy 3-5 years old, that’s the highest point on the depreciation curve, buy reliable vehicles and lastly the tech is cool but you can always add apple car play it’s not a big deal.

So in this video I’m going to share with you my research findings, it’s 5 luxury vehicles that I’m interested in that have lost a ton of value and now can be bought for a steep discount. Keep in mind I don’t care that much about cars and I like SUV’s because I want to be able to go on dirt roads and stuff.

Bentley Bentayga

what a car, right now if I tried to get the 2023 version of this car it would cost me somewhere about 163k-263k

It has a beautiful interior and can go from 0-60 in about less than 4 seconds and has a top speed of 190mph

It’s an absolutely beast of car



However if we use common sense ( subtract 5-6 years we get 2017-2018)

The 2017 model started at 231k back in the day and 300k for the first edition

And now I can find one with again 6 years multiplied by the average 12k miles 72k miles

For about 90-120k , it’s still a ton of money for a car but it’s a 210k dollar difference lol



You might say it’s outdated but it’s not

The infotainment can be upgraded

Maintenance cost will not be 200k lol

And you get a lot of power 0-60 in about 3.5seconds



Lamborghini Urus

I literally had this car on my wall back in 2019, and today if I wanted to buy it; it would be about 230k

That’s a rental property that could make me 1800 a month in income

Crazy right but I have been waiting for this, for the 5 years mark to see how much value this thing has lost



2019 model which is official 5 years old now

msrp price at the time 203k

And now the price is about 190k-200k

How is that possible, Lamborghini has a really good depreciation curve and they tend to hold up value

So no real crazy savings here but it’s better than paying 40k extra for the new model

The truth

I won’t be buying this anytime soon

It makes no mathematical sense currently

I would need to have a networth of 2M dollars to buy this car ( using the 10% rule )



Tesla model x

this was another car I had on my wall, the problem with Tesla is that Elon has done a very good job not making anyone feel like they driving something updated

The actual new is not in the look but instead in the tech

So right now we’re looking at 122-140k for plaid, for the top of the top when it comes to electric vehicles



So let’s look at the 2017 model and what’s happened

P100D: $141,200 which is the top trim, I can find it right now for 60-75k depending on the mileage

Which means a discount of 66k and I still have nearly 300miles of range

And I can go from 0-60 in about 3 seconds







Porsche cayenne

when I was in college I swore I would get one of these cars but then I got my brain cells

This car right now is about 73-114k the gt model

And guys it’s absolutely beautiful, fast and just sexy










Mercedes GLC

these cars are known to be by mechanic, a great money maker for them
