W201 restoration project: Big brake upgrade and OM606 throttle cable (plus first drive!!!)

In this episode I finish two outstanding jobs that have been holding me back from driving the car - the brakes and the throttle cable.

For the brakes I chose to go with a 4 piston Brembo package from a Mercedes S430 (W220) and had to do some small changes to make the set fit the W201.

For the throttle cable, I bought a long throttle cable off of a VW MK4 (2.0 8v) and reused the Mercedes pedal and fuel pump linkages to make it work.

Finally, because of some other ongoing projects, I had to park the W201 at my dad's place for the winter so we took the car out for its first drive :)
