This video shows the AMG GTR's active front aero operating while puttering around a wet race track. You can see that, in Race mode, the front-aero element extends at about 80-85 kph and retracts at below about 60-55 kph and takes about a second to extend/retract.

I also wanted to be able to see how the engine control unit (ECU) controls the throttle when the 9-stage traction control (TC) is activated. It was set to "2 lights" (i.e., almost full on). The low wet-surface traction provided a good environment to see the effects of TC vs ECU Throttle vs throttle-pedal position. As can be seen, the driver's throttle-pedal position is used by the ECU as an indication of what the driver wants. Especially when the proactive 9-stage traction control is engaged, the ECU then uses a myriad of sensors (yaw/pitch, accelerometers, suspension setting, drive-mode setting, current gear/RPM and recent history of various factions) to decide what it's going to do/allow with the actual/ECU throttle position that ultimately controls the engine.
