I was invited to Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023 to be a passenger in the new hypercar, the Mercedes AMG ONE, driving on the famous Hill Climb.

In this video Bernd Schneider drives me in the Mercedes AMG ONE from the Goodwood Festival of Speed SUPERCAR Paddock to the start of the hill climb, where we collect together with other hyper cars such as the Bugatti Bolide, Koenigsegg Jesko, Ferrari Fxx-k, Aston Martin Valkyrie and more. Then we are off up the Hill Climb, and in incredibly wet conditions! An outstanding experience. Despite the track being totally wet and on slick tyres, the AMG ONE held the road impeccably. I felt the acceleration was immense.

At the top of the hill climb, the Bugatti Bolide was following us and was being driven by Andy Wallace, the Bugatti Test driver. We had a quick chat about the Bolide and he explains the basics of the track car.

After a few hypercar revs, it was back down the hill climb to the SUPERCAR Paddock at Goodwood Festival of Speed to park up the AMG ONE.

Many thanks to Mercedes-AMG, the AMG ONE is superb and I am very much looking forward to my new Mercedes AMG ONE arriving in my car collection very soon.
