Connecting a Barcode Scanner to you iSCAN Device

In this video you'll see how to connect a wireless Bluetooth barcode scanner to your iSCAN. A wired USB barcode scanner should be plug and play.

Text Instructions:
Begin by inserting the Bluetooth USB dongle into the USB port on the top of your iSCAN.

Press and hold, then tap to expand the menu at top right of screen
Tap Bluetooth
Toggle radio button to turn Bluetooth on
Tap more settings
Place your wireless scanner into Bluetooth pairing mode
Locate and Tap to connect to wireless scanner

Depending on the type of barcode you are scanning, you may have to switch your wireless scanners mode to scan either, black on white background, or white on black background barcodes. Check the user manual for your specific wireless barcode scanner.

To quickly test your newly paired wireless barcode scanner you perform a test scan.
Tap diagnosis
Tap the ellipsis
Tap bug report
Tap the to enable the cursor
Scan a barcode, in this example we scanned a DATA matrix code.
The digits of the code are now displayed in the field.

Your wireless Bluetooth scanner is now ready to use with your iSCAN device.
