The pedal position sensor is not to be confused with the throttle position sensor of older cable throttle cars.

If your obd2 scanner says you have code P0120, aka the throttle position sensor fault code, check your throttle body. Modern cars no longer has a TPS as they tend to adopt the drive by wire sensor. So either you clean your throttle body or you need a new one.
