How to release transmission from Park in #Volvo V60 without the ignition on. If you need to put #gearbox into the neutral, there's a way to #unlock it after an accident, when the battery is dead, or when the ignition does not work. This will allow you to tow the car, put it on a flat bed, or just remove the car from road after an accident for safety reasons.

ℹ️ Reach behind the center console and remove rubber trim from the compartment. There are two holes, in one of them you can see yellow spring loaded lever. Keep it pressed while trying to put the shift knob form parked into neutral.
