I couldn't get that menu working for hours and now I finally know why my dashboard trip wasn't set for mileage
now stops
step 1
open car get in and close the door
step 2
key in ignition position 1 so just dials do a sweep no other light on dash
if yours is push button then without your foot on brake push button once
step 3
release handbrake
step 4
set your trip display to show your vehicle mileage
step 5
press phone and ok at the same time and hold about 5 sec if it didn't work get out close the car with fob then repeat from step 1
hopefully this will help others that struggled like i did
