Welcome to my Hot Lap for Daily Race C - 2/1/2023 around Mt.Panorama Bathurst on Gran Turismo 7
NOTE: Apologies for the sun glare on my steering wheel camera.
Car Used for this Hot Lap: Ford Mustang Gr.3
Im using Racing Medium Tyres.
I chose to use the Mustang because I have driven it a lot around Bathurst, the Nissan GTR and Mercedes AMG are also good picks for this track. The car does feel a little bit heavy to drive but once you get used to it the Mustang can be a very good car for this track.
Mt.Panorama is not an easy track to master, it takes a lot of practice especially across Sector 2 & 3 which is the top of the mountain and Brock’s skyline.
The Lap time shown is 1.59.634. There is another 4-5 tenths of a second to find in this lap but anything in the 1.59s is a mega start to the week.
I show both my POV and a chase cam view of the lap, the chase cam view is shown so you can see where I brake.
I also have a steering wheel cam and pedal cam.
I have the Traction Control set to level 0 for this Hot Lap but that’s personal preference and you can choose whatever setting you want, although having it set higher will cost you time so its worth getting used to a low level of Traction Control or turning it off all together would be even better.
I will probably be using Traction Control setting 1 in the race just to keep the car a little more stable.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me in the comments below.
