In this video I have my Mercedes 190e w201 and i will be changing the transmission fluid in it.
So some important points to remember.
When refitting do not overtighten the bolts that hold the transmission oil pain as it will get bent and damage the new gasket and start leaking. The bolts are 13mm and get tighten to 8NM only.
The transmission sump plug bolt is a 5mm allan key and it may not come out and you will need to slightly damage it to take it out with hammer and screwdriver so buy a new one and replace it either way.
The way to check the transmission fluid level is to get the car running at idle and measure the temperature of the transmission oil pan till it reaches 80 degrees C and you can then check the fluid level while the car is running.
ATF oil has been used dextron II or III.
