Our W210 2001 Mercedes-Benz Wagon had VERY bad motor mounts! In this video, we show you how to replace the motor mounts and the transmission mount for the NON 4Matic W210. Our Mercedes has the M112 V6 engine paired to the 722.6 transmission.
Pro-Tips:
-Make sure you have the "Offset 16mm Engine Mount Socket Wrench" tool for the job.
-Be patient! It took a lot of time to get the bolts undone, and to get the mounts in and out of place.
-The new mounts came with a rubber covering that made installation very difficult - the OEM mounts didn't have this, so we removed it.
-Be prepared to remove the steering for the drivers side.
-This job is far easier with a lift!
