Previous generations, up to 2021, featured a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

This V8 engine produced around 469 horsepower in the standard C63 and up to 503 horsepower in the C63 S variant.

The newest generation C63 (from 2023 onwards) takes a different approach with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, paired with an electric motor, producing a combined output of around 671 horsepower and over 700 lb-ft of torque.

This new hybrid system enables 0-60 mph times in approximately 3.3 seconds for the C63 S E Performance model.
