Mercedes ML 270 turbo makes strange noises

I was doing some tests for engine oil and transmission fluid temperature and I heard some strange noise coming out from above catalytic converter maybe from turbo, the noises were gone when temperature rise a little above 80 degree.
Anybody knows where that noises was coming from ?
