This week, spy photographers captured images of the upcoming, most powerful version of the flagship Mercedes-Benz GLS, revealing details about its latest redesign. Earlier in the month, digital renderings provided a first look at the standard version, but now, the focus has shifted to the high-performance AMG 63 model. The spy photos suggest that significant updates are on the way, particularly for the front end, which is expected to feature a completely new design. A wider radiator grille with distinctive vertical crossbars is anticipated, drawing inspiration from the brand's electric vehicles and the new E-Class. The rear of the vehicle may also receive updates, with new LED light graphics that echo the latest E-Class styling. The current Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 is powered by a 4.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 612 horsepower, but the new model could introduce a hybrid powertrain, potentially offering even greater performance. The standard GLS might lose the V8 engine in this update.
