How to update the map on the Mercedes navi

The video explains how to install the latest version of the maps on any Mercedes newer than 2010, using MBTools at https://mbtools.me/map

As requirements, you need only a USB, ideally 2.0 or an SD card flash drive, which will help you transfer the map files from your PC, onto the car's navigation headunit system.

Once the files have been copied over, take the flash drive to your car, and if everything is correct, the installation should begin right away.

An activation pin will be required, which can be obtained for 60 EUR.

The installation takes around 1 hour, and it can be interrupted and resumed later.

The demonstration video was made on a w222 S-class with NTG5.5 system, but the procedure also applies to NTG 4.5, NTG 5, NTG 5.1 and NTG 6.
