You win some, you lose some... On this one we took an L, but it was all in the name of experimentation so I can't be too upset. I honestly thought this would have worked wonderfully to tighten up the shifter and remove any slop, which it did, but it also introduced too much harshness and vibration. So, back to the drawing board!
