Are the M156 powered cars going to be future classics? Will they appreciate in value over time? With the new 63 motors becoming 4-cylinders, do people go running back to the 63 motors of old?

I bought a 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG from Carvana in April of 2024. I've been making videos documenting my AMG journey. I have been a Mercedes enthusiast ever since I was a kid when my dad bought his first Mercedes in 1999 (a 1999 C280 sport)

My car: 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG (W212)
Engine: M156 (NA V8)
518hp | 465ft/lb Torque | 6,208cc (6.2L)
0-60mph: 4.3 seconds
Curb Weight: 4,065lbs
MSRP in 2010: $85,750
Price in 2024: $20k-$30k

Thank you for watching! I am a new channel and I hope to make more E63 content as well as other car content. My passion is cars, and I am happy to share these videos with you all. Thank you for your support????????

2010 Mercedes E63 AMG. W212 with the M156 is king.

The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 (called the M156 internally) in the E63 produces 518 horsepower and 476 ft/lb of torque. Built from the ground up by AMG, it was the successor to the much-loved M113K that was in the E55. The M156 was a high revving race engine that had its issues, but over time it has proven to be a favorite amongst Mercedes enthusiasts. With the new AMGs going to 4-cylinder hybrids, the M156 is the pinnacle to the German horsepower and size wars of the 2000's.
