The Malfunction Indicator Light has been showing on the dashboard for some time. The mechanic replaced some unnecessary parts (at great cost) but the indicator persisted. Yesterday the car started to exhibit drivability issues related to the P0068 Diagnostic Trouble Code. I got myself some STP carburettor cleaner and cleaned the throttle body and associated sensor. DTC gone. Hopefully for good.
