There are quite a few items that might need attention inside a door on any 1975 to 1995 Mercedes. The first thing is to know how to properly remove the door panel. Kent has written specific manuals for many of the models during that period. Once removed you can fix the window regulator, door check strap, vacuum door lock, and door latch mechanism. You also need to make certain the drains are unplugged and there is no rust in the bottom inside of the doors. If not stopped early using my Miracle Paint you WILL have rust holes in the bottom of your doors.
