A person from Bihar, who had seen poverty since childhood, sometimes saved eggs and sometimes vegetables to feed his family. He also worked in many offices to meet the expenses of his studies, but his desire for studies did not diminish and he cracked UPSC in the fourth attempt and became an IAS officer! Manoj Kumar Rai, born in Supol village of Bihar, has been pursuing his studies since childhood. Saw the family struggling with difficulties and poverty! In 1999, when he came to Delhi to find work, he cleaned floors in the offices there to meet his expenses, and also worked as a delivery boy in JNU. The turning point in his life came when he met a UPSC aspirant in JNU. From there he got inspiration for UPSC. Along with graduation, he also started studying for UPSC and gave his first attempt in the year 2005, but after one failed attempt after another, Manoj cracked UPSC in the year 2010 and became an IAS officer with 810th rank. Manoj's journey from a vegetable seller to an IAS is inspiring for everyone.
