???? Now that I installed lowering springs on my Nissan GTR, are they worth it? Todays video I review my newly installed H&R lowering springs for my R35 Nissan GT-R. These dropped the car a solid half inch in the back and a bit less then a half inch up front. It is not crazy noticeable as far as a lowered car. But it's a nice subtle drop to make it look more performance oriented and have a lower center of gravity. The ride quality I am very impressed with! The three suspension setting are still usable and I can switch from Comfortable, Normal and Race. So I like how I retained that. My main reason for doing lowering springs instead of coilovers was to retain the factory adjustments. I notice that ride quality is identical to stock and is no different. The main difference is when I push the car hard into a turn, hard braking or hard acceleration. The car is much flatter and seems more responsive. I love that change! The GTR now seems to handle lighter on its toes and really feel stable in the weight transfer. So overall installing lowering springs on the Nissan GTR is well worth it! Subtle drop without sacrificing ground clearance or ride quality. And I get the added performance of a better handling car!
