Today we have the keys to the 2020 Mercedes Benz S-63 AMG. An absolute beast of a 4-door sedan and the pinnacle of Mercedes comfort/luxury and performance that AMG does best.

This is the final year of the W222 body style and a goodbye to the 6th gen S63.

At it’s heart… the M177 engine - AMGs Jack of All Trades 4.0L V-8 BiTurbo cranks out 605 horsepower and almost 700lb of torque!

The M177 is in every single AMG model, including the S63's smaller siblings: the C63 and E63. As well as AMGs GLE, GLC, E63 Wagon, and the GWagon. This engine will also now be made available in the Aston Martin DB11, Vantage, and their new DBX/DBX707.
