A 64 Km/h, 40% overlap into an R94 deformable barrier performed at TUV Bayern for the publication Auto, Motor, und Sport. The vehicle is driven under its own power using a remote control system. This crash test illustrates potential real-world results with integrity of the fuel system as well as risk of fire from other flammable fluids in the engine bay. This is an old video clip that originates from a defunct site dedicated to Mercedes-benz crash test and safety. This video was posted there as well as a handful of other videos.
