Mercedes W205 722.9 Service Tips

I did the transmission service on my 2016 C300 (W205) with the 722.9 7G transmission and want to offer a few notes.

You will need the following:
5 Liters of ATF 134 FE (must be the FE and I recommend 6 Liters to be safe)
Pan Gasket MB 220-271-03-80
Filter MB 222-277-20-00
Copper Plug Seal - doesn’t have to be Mercedes
Fill pipe MB 222-271-00-97
6 Pan Bolts MB 004-990-35-12

From what I can tell everything is interchangeable for the W204 722.9

Tools:
Ramps for the front tires and jack stands for the back
Level to check transmission pan to ensure its level
5/16 socket for panel bolts
8MM Spline socket for the pan bolts
6MM Alan or socket for drain bolt
Electric transfer pump with at least one small hose to refill the pan - the transmission fill adapter from amazon DID NOT WORK.
Large storage bin to catch fluid ONLY if you are in a tight space
