Just showing you how to quickly change the front driver side hydraulic accumulator for the active body control..
This accumulator can also be called air cell
It has nitrogen inside of it to act as a shock absorber since hydraulic fluid cannot be compressed.
There are two, one in front which I’m showing you now and there’s one on the rear passenger side just on top of the muffler
Symptoms when these start to fail and the nitrogen escape from The accumulator...
The car will be more bouncy over bumps, Sway/rock on uneven surfaces of the road... you also could hear a slight boom or banging sound when driving over bumps and potholes
Definitely shop around online for the lowest price
Got mine at carid.com for only $99.00
On average people are selling just one between $119-$199
The front accumulator is very simple and easy to replace. Only took about 25 minutes
