Be sure to watch this in full 4k or the highest resolution possible! This older Mercedes-Benz S500 somehow lost control and went through a gate and into a house. The angle of the car made it difficult to just pull straight out, as that would destroy the already damaged wall, not to mention cause further damage to the house and the car.
Our game plan here was to use Big Flipper (our 75ton rotator) to sky out the car then rotate it to safety. We went with 4 individual lines over other methods because of the angle of the car. By using this method, we were able to have full control over each corner of the car for a precise recovery.
For those saying "I could have done that with my flatbed or one-ton truck", I'm sure you could have. But not without causing more damage and not without risking damage on the driveway. Driveways are meant for cars, not heavy trucks with a lot of pressure being exerted from lifting. That is why we had Big Flipper parked in the street and 2" thick pads under the outriggers. As always, Dave and I got the job done in a fast, safe and efficient manner
All footage was shot with my GoPro Hero 7 Black using a chest mount and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.
If you liked the video, subscribe to see more in the future and follow us on Instagram and Facebook to see our daily recoveries and more pictures of The Hulk and our giant 75ton rotator, Big Flipper, where I post content regularly.
We also have a new merch store on the website where you can get Pepe's gear like hats, beanies, shirts and hoodies!
