2020 BMW M8 - Interior and Exterior Walkaround - Debut At 2019 La Auto Show.

The 2020 BMW M8 Gran Coupe has its world premiere at the LA Auto Show in a very special configuration.

We’re talking about the First Edition model, a limited-run M8 Gran Coupe that closely emulates the looks of the BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupe unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. BMW will only build 400 of these First Edition models and all of them will feature an identical specification.

The headline act is the striking BMW Individual Aurora Diamond Green metallic paint finish, complemented by Gold Bronze accents for the M8 badging, side window surrounds, M gills, and mirror caps.

No changes were made in the powertrain department, where the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 600 PS (591 HP) in the “standard” model and 625 PS (617 HP) in the Competition version. In both cases, the peak torque is 553 lb-ft (750 Nm), available between 1,800 – 5,600 rpm.

As the name suggests, First Edition models will kick off sales of the BMW M8 Gran Coupe lineup in April 2020. Prices have not been released yet but we’re pretty sure this is going to be the most expensive M8 Gran Coupe available to buy.
