I am back with a new Mercedes project car! I have a few more things I want to do with the Mercedes W212 E550, but this was a deal that was too good to pass up. This 2000 Mercedes S430 W220 retailed for $78,000 when new, I picked it up in running but not driving condition for just $500!
This 2000 Mercedes S430 W220 has been sitting in a garage for the past three years due to a blown airmatic suspension system. Once we actually got the car started it runs amazing, it just has some serious issues with the driving part. I only needed to get the car about 2 miles down the road to my garage so I could work on it, but between the wheels rubbing the wheel wells and the side skirts scrubbing the ground, it just wasn't going to happen.
Stay tuned for Part II where I actually get this thing into driving condition and take it on it's first drive in 3 years!
