The Mercedes 250 SE Coupe W111 replaced the 220 SE model in September 1965. Debuting alongside the W108/W109 range in a two-door, distinguished body, it offered a more modern 2.5-liter engine, 150 hp, and a much higher top speed. External differences were limited to one-inch larger wheels with revised lids to hide enlarged brakes. It was offered in parallel with the convertible version until the end of 1967, 5259 were built in the coupe version. Today it is a symbol of timeless Mercedes beauty. Distinguished, powerful, it still commands respect on the road, completely soothing with its calm, comfortable road manners.
