In this video, I take you through the removal of the upper timing chain covers on my 1998 R129 SL600. There isn't a ton of info on this online, so I hope this helps someone out!

The R129 SL600 is powered by the legendary Mercedes-Benz M120 V12 engine. The same engine used in the Pagani Zonda. Lots of people are worried about the maintenance on the car, and this series is about documenting my experience bringing her back to pristine condition.
