Mercedes ml 320 diesel
THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I ACTUALLY FELT THE CAR BRAKE DOWN AND THE PROBLEM
Ok this did catch me with my pants down *literally* ???????????? but I thought I’d honestly fixed it
When it happened and I wasn’t expecting it ,I had a lot going on heavy steering , where I’m I going to park this thing and safely but calmly I succeeded
Now I’m agitated what did I miss
But the braking down was a good thing and most of my diagnosing happened on the way back because it broke down again ,and when I got it home the Patton was emerging
When this fault was occurring but no fault codes
One thing I forgot to put in the video was turning it over on the key when the fault was there but I saw there was no crank signal the night before on the autel oscilloscope
So your have to forgive me , I was just excited I’d captured this fault and when I thought it was going to happen ,just to prove I had found the fault this time
The owner wanted to burn it I said no as I saw a big opportunity to fix it especially after telling him about the coolant temp sensor ,i felt i had given him false hope
The whole job took 4 hours from start to finish including temp sensor , another 1.5 hours to get home after it broke down and hours watching Kojak ,magnum of 50% concentration thinking and sleeping in bed (yep I think in my sleep to and even talk to the Mrs about the problems , I don’t know I’m doing it because I’m sleep ????????????????????????) but i needed to know
WHAT HAS THE ABILITY TO SHUT THE CAR DOWN AND THE ECU DIDNT SEE IT AS IT HAPPENED THAT FAST???????????????????????????????????????? could of been a expensive repair bill
I’m am finding easier to diagnose faults now with out running a garage and running around people sorting there problems out
