My Mercedes Benz GLC 250D has just had it's third service at a Mercedes Benz service centre. It didn't go very well as I was told my Diesel car will require spark plugs. This was the A4 service and my car had done only a few thousand kilometers since the last service. But as I found out the service staff who was looking after my car was having a rough day. Between not understanding my car was Diesel to thinking I required a B service to quoting a service cost that later morphed in the day. But maybe telling me both my front tyres were worn out within 22300KM was what broke me. This stumbling bumbling service ended up changing my view of this style of car and the Mercedes Benz brand. The more I investigated what was going on the more I found. And to cap it off my final invoice of the day still indicated to me I had spark plugs replaced on my Diesel Mercedes. You can either laugh or cry. I can assure you I was really mad.

If there is enough chatter about the tyres on my car that's almost worthy of a separate video. I have the Bridgestone Sport RFT (run flat tyres). I can't believe how fast these tyres wore out on my Mercedes Benz. Talking tyres on these styles of cars is quite complex. Different models can use different tyre sizes front and back. But from what I have learned my tyres have never been rotated at service. And this is possibly why my tyres have worn out in very few kilometers of driving.
