This week we dive into the Mercedes-Benz G63 and why anyone would pay $100,000 or more over window sticker or list price. Mercedes has rampped up production heavily Since 2017 and it’s still not enough. With an average MSRP of $180,000 for the G63, it’s not cheap. Tack on another $100,000 and you have yourself a $280,000 selling price, plus tax in LA and we’re well over $300,000, totaling the out the door price of a Mercedes G63 to about $315,000. That is a massive price for an extremely off-road capable SUV which will be driven mostly in the city.

So why are people ok with this? It’s just worth it to people. Its not just how it looks, its not how it sounds, or how much more power it has over a G550. It’s all about how it makes the driver feel, and that’s something you just can’t substitute with any other SUV in the world.
