At first I thought I would have to replace the whole CV axle. I had the rear seals replaced (CV axle seal). In doing so the left ABS tone ring was slightly damaged enough to throw a code. I wanted to change out the CV axles but couldn't find the right one. apparently the correct ones that I have might have had to be purchased from the dealer. I found the ABS tone rings online for about $25.
