The AMG GT53 has the looks, the interior, the suspension, and the grip of its faster sibling, the GT63 - AKA the one with the good engine. Normally, this is where we would say that the smaller, lighter Turbo Inline Six - powered model is *actually* the more agile one, the "enthusiast" one. But here, it's also got a mild hybrid setup, with an electric powered supercharger for torque fill. This means it's not only less powerful than the GT63, but also around 200 lbs heavier. Matt and Zack debate whether, in an AMG model, all the other attributes of the car exist to serve the crazy engine, or whether it's the other way around.
