It’s time for a super-luxurious Mercedes drag race!

We’ve got Mat lining up against the all-new S-Class in the all-new EQS to see which will come out on top over the quarter-mile - petrol, or electric!

So how do they compare? Starting with the EQS, it’s powered by a single electric motor that drives the rear wheels, which delivers 330hp & 570Nm of torque. It’s super heavy though, weighing in at around 2.5 tonnes!

When it comes to the S-Class, you’ll find a 3-litre straight-six turbo petrol under the bonnet which can put down 435hp & 520Nm of torque. It’s also a whole lot lighter than the EQS, tipping the scales at 2,065kg.

So what do you think, is it a lost cause for the EQS? Or will EV power push it to victory? You’ll have to keep watching to find out!
