As Mercedes-Benz gears up to roll compressive lineup of electric vehicles, the boxy EQB—based on the gasoline-powered GLB300 SUV—is among the first offerings under the new EQ subbrand. Two different all-electric powertrains are offered, with EQB300 models making a combined 225 horsepower and EQB350 models getting bumped up to 288; all-wheel drive is standard. Similar to the GLB-class SUV, the EQB offers a spacious cabin with upscale materials; a third row of seats is available, but it's extremely snug and most adults won't find it comfortable
