Introducing the 2023 Mercedes EQE SUV: a versatile and dynamic vehicle that combines the best features of the EQS with a more compact and agile design. The EQE SUV boasts a spacious interior, making it a top contender in its class, while its external dimensions (4863/1940/1686 mm) and shorter wheelbase (3030 mm) ensure easy handling. The vehicle is built on the new all-electric platform, making it the fourth model in the EQ lineup.

With a modular drive system, the EQE SUV offers a range of power outputs from 180 kW to 300 kW, enabling WLTP ranges of over 590 kilometers, depending on the model and configuration. The lithium-ion battery is composed of ten modules, and its in-house developed battery management software can be updated over-the-air (OTA).

The EQE SUV comes standard with an extensive range of driving assistance systems, including ATTENTION ASSIST, Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Parking Package with a reversing camera, and Speed Limit Assist. Additional assistance options are available in separate packages. The vehicle's suspension and shorter wheelbase make it highly maneuverable and agile, with AIRMATIC air suspension and rear-axle steering available as optional extras.

The EQE SUV features OTA technology, allowing owners to customize and update their vehicle functions after purchase. The impressive MBUX Hyperscreen offers an immersive, personalized infotainment experience, with an optional 12.3-inch OLED display for the front passenger. The system uses intelligent camera-based logic to ensure driver focus remains on the road.

Navigation with Electric Intelligence plans the most efficient route, incorporating charging stops and accounting for traffic conditions or driving style changes. The system even calculates estimated charging costs per stop. Pre-entry climate control based on driver habits offers greater convenience and battery efficiency, while the standard heat pump contributes to an efficient thermal architecture.

The EQE SUV debuts a new "Serene Breeze" soundscape, providing a relaxing and natural acoustic environment. Customizable charging rates and the Plug & Charge function make charging convenient and tailored to individual driving needs. The vehicle also features DIGITAL LIGHT with selectable animations, as well as a host of high-tech features like ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus, ENERGIZING COMFORT, and Dolby Atmos sound.

The EQE SUV's exterior design combines functionality with aesthetics, showcasing its sporty character. Aerodynamic fine-tuning and a Cd value from 0.25 contribute to impressive efficiency. The interior is fully digitalized, with the optional MBUX Hyperscreen and leather-free materials as standard. The vehicle maintains a high level of passive safety, following the Integral Safety principles found in all Mercedes-Benz models.

The EQE SUV began production at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (USA) in December 2022, with batteries supplied by the nearby Bibb County battery plant. All Mercedes-Benz-owned passenger car and van plants worldwide have achieved net carbon-neutral production since 2022, including the Alabama facilities.
