This process works for the early W203 cars. [Mine is the first year's production car, - year 2000, C220 Cdi W203].
For those with no owners manual ....
Step-by-step Instructions:
Get into the driver seat.
Close all of the doors.
1) Turn the electronic Key in the starter switch to position 2
2) Call up the Trip ODO screen using the two lower left buttons on the steering wheel
3) Use the two upper left buttons, navigate the the FFS indicator screen [Wrench icon]
4) Press the RESET knob on the instrument cluster for 4 seconds
5)The multifunction display will read "Do You Want To Reset Service Interval? - Confirm By Pressing R"
6) Press the RESET knob on the instrument cluster again for 4 seconds until the BEEP sounds.
7) Done. The new interval will show
