NEW Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT 2021 review: the new performance SUV KING

The Cayenne Turbo GT is not only the first SUV to drive like a Porsche GT product, it blows away rivals such as the Lamborghini Urus and Audi RS Q8.

There’s a good reason for it: the Cayenne Turbo GT has been developed by the same group of geniuses behind the excellent 911 GT3, GT2 RS and 718 Cayman GT4. True, it shares the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine as the Urus and SQ8, but Porsche builds the unit itself in Germany and has given it plenty of upgrades for an output of 640hp and 850Nm of torque. There’s also a revised steering rack, suspension geometry, damping and rear axle steering along with carbon ceramic brakes, which come as standard. All for a £144,000, about the same price as a BMW M5 CS. Is it worth the price tag? Today, we find out...
