This video shows how to bypass the mercedes ipod plug in 08 s550 and similar vehicles. Currently ive seen interfaces either very expensive or not available. This vehicle had an ipod plug factory installed in the glovebox and an aux source option already available on the radio system. The ipod cable was torn and the wires ripped, so my options were replace the cable wich is only available through mercedes with the aux bundle (expensive) or integrate/bypass.
