Is the Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 53 a Great Performance SUV | Tail of the Dragon

???? In todays video we get the chance to take the 2023 Mercedes Benz AMG GLE53 through the tail of the dragon! One of the best roads on the east coast and very popular for car enthusiast to take their cars and enjoy the drive! But what about driving a family SUV through the twisty turns and the elevation changes!? We were honestly thoroughly impressed with the handling characteristics and the power for this AMG! While this model didn't have the larger engine with more power, it was pretty adequate especially for the weight! Kudos to Mercedes Benz for their AMG lineup and with that put into a family SUV, if you got lost and had to drive through the tail of the dragon, you would be absolutely fine! The fact that this luxury SUV can drive smooth, it's quiet and has so much technology, but you can push a few buttons and make it louder, have more direct steering and still be comfortable while taking turns! We thought we would drive this Mercedes Benz just to see if it could be fun and very very impressed! If you watched our other videos taking different cars through this road, you'll know that we went from a Mustang Ecoboost to this Mercedes Benz, and I would 100% take the Benz over the mustang all day! It was that much better so much fun to take through the twisty turns!
Lets face it though, probably 100% of the buyers for this Mercedes Benz AMG will be driving it from point A to point B, going to the store or picking up the kids and it won't get to see it's full potential with the performance characteristics, however, if you do buy this car to do driving similar to that, this is a great Mercedes Benz AMG to do that with!
It was such a fun SUV and with that all wheel drive system, didn't even loose traction! You can buy a vehicle that has tons of technology if that's what you want, and also an equal amount of performance with this Mercedes Benz!
