We recently tested the GLE63s large super SUV and now were treated to the "Coupe" version of the vehicle.

Quite simply it's a case of the same plus even more with just a little bit of compromise in rear headroom and load space while creating an even more mean and menacing look to the vehicle.

The 450kW and 850Nm with EQ electric assistance remain the same, giving you manic performance at the prod of the throttle let alone when moving up through the drive modes.

Every possible luxury, safety and convenience spec is present and, in my opinion, the extra R60 000 purchase price over the GLE is a bargain for the extra street cred of the Coupe version.

Of course, at R3 million before extras, the difference is immaterial anyway.
