Mercedes W210 LED Reverse Lights - Error Free

Late model W210s have a more sensitive can bus system and are not able to run LEDs with built in resistors like the early 1996 and 1997 models can. I found a pair of pre wired LED 1156 reverse lights that have external resistors that are mostly plug and play for later cars 2000-2002. The only modification required to make these lights work is to trim the plastic bulb socket for the tail light. This part is replaceable and even if modified can be reversed easily if you decided you don't want it. Other than that all you have to do is mount the resistor and everything works as it should.
