How To Quickly Clean An ABS ESP Connector With Code C1001 or 5001

This is a common problem on many European cars like this Mercedes or Chrysler Crossfire vehicle, but is easier than it appears to resolve this.

Many times due to the harsh weather ???? ❄️ and its elements an electrical connector can get bad with lime deposits, soot, grime, or dirt and cause the connector to be inoperable. In other words the electrical connection cannot transmit its connection to the ABS control module and allow the Anti-Lock Braking System or Electronic Stability Program, or traction control to work properly.



So you need only a few items to get the control module to respond again:

ℹ️ If this quick cleaning solution does not work, then you can do a deeper clean which includes removing the Control Module and cleaning the solenoids and coils on the back side of the ABS unit. That video will be available later by the end of July 2021.
