Hey everyone! Today we are taking a look at how to reset the service interval notification on more modern automobiles. Cars have had oil life reminders for decades now but before you could just reset the notification via an in car menu or button. Not any longer. More and more makes and models, especially the high end brands, have phased that out in favor of needing a special scanner to do the trick. They do this to make you more likely to not do the work yourself. So you just have the dealer do it, meanwhile they line their pockets with your money.

In this video I show you exactly how to get around that by using a AUTEL scanner on a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLA 250. Mercedes is one of the toughest in the industry to work on and their computer systems are no different but, follow along with me and my scanner and you will just just fine.
