Audi R8 2019 Release Date Interior and Exterior - Although it was just introduced in the U.S. as a 2017 model, the current Audi R8 looks set to receive a face-lift and some under-the-skin updates for 2019. The changes have already been announced for European models, and we expect that U.S.-bound coupes and convertibles will follow suit.
The modifications are minor but notable, consisting of styling tweaks and enhancements to the suspension and steering, as well as a likely output bump for the V10 engine. There wasn't much that the existing R8 needed, so a light touch is a good strategy.

In addition to the mechanical and software changes, the R8 gets a wider front grille with the previous chrome surround removed, as well as more intricate front vents, including three at the leading edge of the bonnet that were inspired by those on Audi’s 1980s Ur-quattro rally car.
Darker headlight surrounds, enlarged air intakes behind the doors and a full-width honeycomb grille at the rear also contribute to what is a more aggressive overall look, while the exhaust pipes are now oval rather than rectangular and a lot more prominent.

New alloy wheel designs feature too, along with a new three-part engine cover at the rear which can be had in plastic or carbon-fibre. Speaking of the rear, the updated R8 gets a more prominent diffuser treatment with large oval-shaped tailpipe finishers, compared to the current car's squared-off quad-tip arrangement.
Audi R8 2019 Release Date Interior and Exterior
The new Audi R8 will go on sale in the UK in early 2019. Audi hasn’t announced how much it’ll cost, but it isn’t expected to set you back significantly more than the outgoing model. Coupe versions will cost from around £130,00 while open-topped Spyder models will set you back around £5,000 more. That’s approximately the same price as a Porsche 911 Turbo, and almost £15,000 less than an AMG GT R.
